Missed Betty LaVette yesterday after Seasick Steve's PA malfunction. Turns out a virus on a flash stick supplied by one of Steve's crew actually ruined 2 mixing desks...eek! Back to Betty...66 years young and fantastic on stage...this lady has lived...
Then the lovely Natasha from the Audreys serenaded all with her siren song...loved the twinkle in her eye.
Time for a second helping of the very funked up Mr Maceo Parker!
Josh Pyke turned the tables on his adoring crowd atking a pic of the audience at the beginning of his performance.
Serious fun was had by all who caught the Melbourne Ska Orchestra...high energy, upbeat and visually exciting...loved these guys and gal!
Natalie from Blue King Brown got all rootsy on us...
Local hero John Butler took to the stage amidst a huge amount of noise from the crowd and didn't disappoint.
While we couldn't see him that well lurking in the shadows, Shane MacGowan and the Pogues certainly had the crowd jumping...still can't believe I heard them live!
...and then before you know it, the festival is almost over with only one day remaining. Whatever will I do without all this live music to sustain me?
