I always love visiting GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art) and had the chance to include some time there while in Brisvegas over the weekend. The latest exhibition by Cia Guo-Qiang  is "Falling Back to Earth" and is his first solo in Australia. The piece "Heritage" was inspired by a visit to North Stradbroke Island and has 99 animals from the earth's various continents drinking from the one waterhole.

"Head On" also features 99 animals in a circle, though all wolves this time and the circle is a little more abstract shall we say! Absolutely loved this!

Every wolf had a different expression and stance and I could have stayed here for hours just getting to know each one. Thought our timing for a visit was quite good too...we howled at the full moon that evening!
