My husband was born and raised in Hong Kong and our daily life is coloured with many Chinese influences. For this reason I was very excited to be photographing the wedding of Simone and Hsien. Their wedding celebrations had many Chinese embellishments, including the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony, in honour of Hsien's Chinese heritage. Here is a sneak peek....

Dragon Tea is made by the "lucky woman", in this case, Hsien's aunty.

In exchange, the elders give to the couple Lai See, lucky red envelopes containing money or jewellery. LISMORE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERTREGEAGLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
