So families and friends from far and wide descended on Lismore's Oake's Oval last night, to sing carols in celebration of christmas. The new venue saw people with more room to spread their blankets and the kids with more room to run around, but sorry, I am still a lover of that natural amphitheatre which is our riverside and I did miss it last night.
It made me smile to see familiar faces in the crowd, a whole year older and taller since last year's carols. The weather was kind and while the sky put on it's own stunning light show, the rain that was up there didn't fall!
